New paintings delivered to Galleries around Scotland including Christos Gallery, Merchant Gate Gallery, Concept Art, West End Galleries, Marchmont Gallery, Blackhall Gallery, Torrance Gallery & Greens and Blues.
I am now working on paintings for - Outback Gallery (Islay), Torrance Gallery (Edinburgh), Christos Gallery (Glasgow), Archway Gallery (Lochgilphead), Stable Gallery (Inverarary)and Ionahouse Gallery (Oxfordshire) Yet I’m already in talks with new galleries that are interested in my paintings for 2012-13, including a stable of Cornish & London Galleries.....I’ll keep ’looking’ forward......!
Since the posting below....a lot has happened - I’ve had 3 different operations. My eye is far from normal, its still stitched across the pupil, the retina is currently held with a film of oil and the fact that my lens was ripped out (lens should be hanging behind the pupil) means the Surgeon is wary about the future of my left eye...........Lets wait and ’see’..
Over the past 2 months. I am almost ’up to speed’ with the amount of work I’m producing, that’s freaked me out, I went straight back into my studio and started on a blank canvas, since then, I have produced work for many of my galleries.
On Fri 29th July I had a major accident. I was building a wardrobe for our new house and basically a screwdriver slipped and punctured my left eye. It went through the pupil and pulled the lens and lens bag out of the front. As far as we know the retina is’nt damaged but due to the stiches and blood clotting the surgeon cant discuss future visibility until the eye has healed. I am being very positive and am back in the studio already, I know it will be frustrating, but I need to keep painting and focus on each day at a time. A big THANK YOU to the Ambulance, the RAF Sea-King crew, all the hostpital staff at Lochgilphead and RAH and especially the nurses and surgeons at RAH Hostpital.
Thanks to all my buyers who have heard through the grapevine and got in touch, I will update my website when I get more news and will be posting new finished paintings in Mid-August.............Dont worry I’m determined and motivated !
Over the next few months I will be working on paintings for Galleries around Scotland, England and Christmas group exhibitions. Galleries at this time of year are seeking new work all the time, yet a couple of ’on the ball’ galleries have already approched me for exhibition dates for 2013...I will keep you updated !
***** Will be exhibiting in Italy in late 2012, invited to show at the ’Galleria Zacchi’ - Desenzano del Garda (Lake Garda) and the ’Totem - Il Canale’ Grand Canal, Venice. An exciting oppurtunity to paint some stunning scenes.....keep watching ! *******
